{Strawberry Spinach Salad}




Salad:
6 cups torn spinach (about 1 lb)washed and drained
2 or 3 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup sesame seeds
2 cups sliced strawberries
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Dressing:
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp paprika
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
3/4 tsp poppy seeds (optional I don't add these)

Mix the spinach, green onions, and strawberries in a large bowl. Put the sesame seeds and almonds on a pan and brown in the oven or broiler. Add the browned sesame seeds, almonds, and dressing to the salad and mix up just before serving. Makes 6 servings.
